What this programme covers

Apply free and complete a mandatory pitch/assessment. Up to 10 suitable startups may be selected. Selected pricing: provisional patent package for one agreed invention ₹6,999 + GST; trademark for one mark in one class ₹3,000 + GST. Regular pricing: provisional patent package ₹9,999 + GST; trademark for one mark in one class ₹5,500 + GST. Government fees remain separate. Filing does not guarantee grant or registration.

Selection, filing acknowledgement and handover records are issued as applicable. Patent grant or trademark registration is not guaranteed.

Conditional opportunity

Up to 10 suitable startups may be selected. Selected rates apply only to the stated package scope. Government fees, objections, hearings, opposition, appeals, complete specifications and other excluded work remain separate unless quoted in writing.

Format clarification

The public application collects only non-confidential information. Confidential technical material is requested later through the approved private process. The 15–30-working-day filing period begins only after complete inputs and readiness. Monday to Saturday count as working days; Sunday is excluded. A complete specification ordinarily must follow within the applicable 12-month period after provisional filing. New selected startups pay the one-time ₹1,000 ecosystem-association fee plus applicable GST.

Does filing guarantee a granted patent or registered trademark?

No. Filing creates an application and acknowledgement. Final grant or registration depends on the competent authority and subsequent process.

Should confidential invention details be entered in the public form?

No. Submit only a non-confidential summary. Confidential material is collected later through the approved private process.
